Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan Gives an Interview on the Program “Accompanying Businesses”

During the interview, Mr. Huan stated that businesses are cells and integral parts of society and cannot operate independently. For an entrepreneur like Mr. Huan, participating in the Vietnam Fatherland Front is also a way to contribute to society while sharing knowledge, learning from others, and building connections with Party and State agencies, enabling him to communicate and convey his aspirations more effectively.

In his view, the private sector is currently identified as one of the three pillars of the socialist-oriented market economy. Halcom Vietnam Joint Stock Company, where Mr. Huan serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors, is also engaged in the emerging renewable energy sector, including wind and solar power, and is preparing to enter the waste-to-energy sector. Therefore, policy development, regulatory agencies, and policy communication are among the key issues of concern to the company.

Halcom’s focus on waste-to-energy is also seen as a way to address existing environmental challenges and is particularly relevant to the development of Di An City, Binh Duong Province. Mr. Huan warned that within the next 20–30 years, Vietnamese children may not have sufficient access to clean water due to environmental pollution caused by waste. Addressing this issue requires joint efforts from both businesses and the public. As a candidate for the National Assembly, Mr. Huan believes that, if entrusted and elected by the people, this would provide him with an opportunity to work with relevant authorities to raise pressing issues, seek appropriate solutions, and help remove bottlenecks through practical and feasible measures.
