On the morning of January 25, 2024, a delegation led by Ms. Truong Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, organized a program to visit and present Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families and disadvantaged households in Cong Son Commune, Cao Loc District, Lang Son Province. In an effort to spread the message of “Leaving No One Behind,” Halcom Vietnam Joint Stock Company supported the program by sponsoring 100 gift packages worth VND 50 million in total.

Representing Halcom Vietnam Joint Stock Company at the charity program was Mr. Phung Ngoc Son, Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union. The program was also attended by representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, leaders of Lang Son Province and Cao Loc District, the District Party Committee Secretary, leaders of the District People’s Council, the Party Committee Secretary, and leaders of the Commune People’s Committee.

With the spirit of “For the Poor – Leaving No One Behind,” the delegation inquired about the local people’s living conditions and extended Tet greetings, wishing residents and local officials a joyful and warm Lunar New Year of the Dragon.

The charity gift-giving ceremony took place at the People’s Committee of Cong Son Commune, Cao Loc District, Lang Son Province. Cong Son Commune is home to just over 300 Dao ethnic minority households, with poor and near-poor households accounting for as much as 70% of the total. Located at a high altitude and facing harsh weather conditions and difficult transportation, ensuring that local residents can enjoy a warm and fulfilling Tet holiday is one of the top priorities of the Party Committee, local authorities, and Vietnam Fatherland Front at both the district and grassroots levels.

In response to the call from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Halcom Vietnam Joint Stock Company joined the initiative by sponsoring and presenting 100 gift packages to 100 poor and near-poor households, disadvantaged elderly people, and social protection beneficiaries in Cong Son Commune, Cao Loc District. Each gift package was worth VND 1 million, including essential goods and VND 500,000 in cash.

The company has supported policy beneficiary families, low-income households, children in mountainous areas, communities affected by natural disasters, and ethnic minority groups.
