Over the past several years, wastewater, air emissions, and household solid waste pollution across Vietnam—particularly in rural areas, craft villages, river basins, and even urban areas—have created environmental pollution hotspots, causing serious concern among local residents. As Vietnam undergoes rapid economic development, industrialization, urbanization, and investment, increasing pressure is being placed on the environment. Meanwhile, environmental protection infrastructure and resources remain inadequate to meet current needs, making it all the more necessary to implement comprehensive and coordinated solutions to protect the environment.
To gain a better understanding of the results of efforts to address environmental pollution hotspots in recent years, as well as solutions to prevent the emergence of new pollution hotspots, the Policy Dialogue program today has invited several distinguished guests to the studio.
