Alongside its investment activities, consulting remains a core business area for Halcom Vietnam, helping the Company effectively implement investment projects, expand its market presence, strengthen international engagement, and improve the efficiency of the works and projects it develops. The Company continues to provide the three main consulting service lines that have established the Halcom brand: engineering; environmental and social safeguards; and communications and community awareness. A notable milestone was the initial realization of its goal of expanding into regional markets through the implementation of a consulting package in Laos funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
As part of its development plan through 2026, Halcom Vietnam will focus its resources on developing approximately 300 MW of renewable energy capacity, with around VND 10 trillion in investment capital allocated for these projects. The Company aims to complete the restructuring and efficient operation of the Phuong Mai 3 Wind Power Plant; complete Phase 1 of the Nhon Hoi Water Supply System project and develop plans to expand its capacity in subsequent years; increase the capacity of Thuan Thanh Water Plant while applying new water treatment technologies; and complete the legal procedures for waste-to-energy, offshore wind power, and several other industrial projects.
