  • Halcom Vietnam Donates 500 Million Dongs For The Poor People

    On October 17th, 2020, at the live broadcast program “Together joining hands for the poor – No one is left behind” 2020 organized by the Central Committee of the Fatherland Front, the National Target Program Leading Board and Vietnam Television in Hanoi, Halcom Vietnam Jsc. committed the total donation of 500 million dongs for the poor people. 

  • EU Ambassador and Vice Minister of Trade and Industry visit RE project sites in Binh Dinh

    During a a joint working mission to Binh Dinh, as part of the EU’s energy sector policy support program to Vietnam, on 8 October, 2020, EU Ambassador Giorgio Aliberti and Vice Minister of Trade and Industry Hoang Quoc Vuong visited some renewable project sites in the province including Phuong Mai 3 Wind Power Plant at Nhon Hoi Economic Zone. Vice President of provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Phi Long and leaders of related departments accompanied in the visit.

  • GWEC urges Vietnam to extend wind energy scheme

    Vietnam is the fastest-growing wind energy market in Southeast Asia, with 500MW of onshore and offshore installed capacity, and an additional 4GW due to be connected by 2025. Liming Qiao, Asia director of the Global Wind Energy Council, told VIR’s Nguyen Thu how Vietnam’s feed-in tariff scheme, which has fuelled the wind industry’s development, must be urgently extended to maintain investor appetite and avoid a bust scenario.

  • Halcom Vietnam supports building up school in Bac Kan province

    Halcom Vietnam joins hands with VOV1 and some enterprises in building up a new kindergarten school for poor ethnic children in Na Ma village, Phuc Loc commune, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province. The construction of the new school, starting on Aug 11 and completing by Oct, 2020, will facilitate better infrastructure – a classroom and supporting areas – for the local teachers and children in studying. The total construction amount is over 700 million dongs.

  • Gifts for poor pupils at Cat Tien, Binh Dinh

    On July 15th, 2020, representatives of Central Wind Power Jsc. (CWP), a member company of Halcom Vietnam Jsc., granted gifts to 20 poor pupils at the 2019-2020 school year-end ceremony of Cat Tien elementary school (Cat Tien commune, Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province).

  • Vice Chairman of Hau Giang People’s Committee visits Hau Giang Solar Power Plant

    On 8 July, 2020, Mr.Nguyen Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, had a survey visit to the construction site of Hau Giang solar power plant (Hoa An commune, Phung Hiep district), together with officers from related departments.
