On Oct 23, 2020 at Intercontinental Saigon hotel in HCMC, Halcom Vietnam Jsc. and Chairman Nguyen Quang Huan honored receiving the Corporate Excellence and Master Entrepreneur Awards of APEA (Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards) 2020. This is a remarkable milestone, affirming the Company’s reputation and position in the region.
With the operation network across 14 countries, the prestigious APEA is a regional award recognition program organized by Enterprise Asia – a non-government organization on enterprise evaluation. APEA applies strict entry criteria, highly competitive rating parameters and a rigorous rating and voting process that honors outstanding individuals and business organizations. Enterprise Asia especially appreciates 2020 award recipients for their effective initiatives and plans to flexibly and creatively adapt to overcome immense challenges that have never happened before.
As one of the nine Master Entrepreneurs honored at APEA 2020, Mr.Nguyen Quang Huan, Chairman of Halcom Vietnam, shared on the 3-5 year target of the Company, “We set the investment goal of achieving 300-500 MW renewable energy capacity, a water supply plant with 20,000 – 30,000 m3/day and night capacity, and a solid waste-to-energy at 1,000 tons/day capacity. In the consulting field, we continue our expansion into the Southeast Asia markets such as Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar in order to ensure the minimum ODA-project revenue of 100 billion dongs per year.”
CEO Saurabh Mathur expressed thanks and appreciation to Enterprise Asia, “This means a lot. It basically tells us that we are on the right path. Hopefully we will be able to make some contribution to the clean energy and the growth of sustainable development of Vietnam. Halcom Vietnam has been different in terms of how we take business values. We have adopted corporate compliance program since 2016, which ensures international practices are met in Vietnam.
