Hanoi, 26 June, 2023 – Halcom Vietnam Jsc. and Euwelle Environmental Technology GmbH (Germany) signed MOU on using the Euwelle propriety Maximum Yield Technology™ (MYT) solution for integrated solid waste management and treatment facilities in Vietnam.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) sets for the terms and understanding between the two parties in using the Euwelle propriety Maximum Yield Technology (MYT) solution for integrated solid waste treatment projects that Halcom is developing in Vietnam. This remarks a strategic partnership milestone as both parties have contributed significant efforts to the development of several local projects since 2021.
MYT technology, a “Maximum Yield Technology” is based on the experience of the ZAK methodology, however, this mechanical-biological waste treatment of residual municipal waste aims to recover the maximum energy content of the waste and fully recoverable energy sources in the form of to use quality-assured fuels and high-energy biogas, which is also used for RDF production (Refuse-derived fuel). That means almost “ZERO Waste to Landfill”.
Euwelle has taken the lead in devising a tailor-made technical solution in consideration of the prevailing boundary conditions and by employing its proprietary MYT solution for high-profile pioneering projects in the spirit of “German Technology for Viet Nam”. Halcom Vietnam, as a leading investor in researching and applying innovative technologies, has high expectations on Euwelle’s MYT technology to be applied in its solid waste treatment projects in potential cities and provinces. The company targets to build up and operate solid waste treatment plants with a capacity of 3,000 tons of waste per day by 2026.
