Hau Giang, January 18, 2020 – Joining hands with People’s Committee of Hoa An Commune on the occasion of Tet festival, representatives of VKT – Hoa An Solar Power JSC., a member of Halcom Vietnam, visited and presented gifts to the poor households in Hoa An commune, Phung Hiep district.
Hoa An is an extremely difficult commune where the living standard is very low, the local people mainly earn living on agricultural production. The percentage of poor households accounts for 19,41% (1,057 households), the percentage of near-poor households is 5, 12% (238 households). Accompanying with the People’s Committee of Hoa An commune, representatives of VKT – Hoa An Solar Power JSC., a member company of Halcom Vietnam, presented 40 Tet gift sets, each including 300,000 VND in cash, along with the other necessary supplies, with the total value of 20 million dongs, to the people in Hoa An commune for their warmer New Year.
Poor households in Hoa An were supported to have a warmer Tet festival.
