Providing Homes, Inspiring Families to Rise
In early September 2026, Halcom Vietnam JSC, in coordination with local authorities, completed and handed over two charity houses to disadvantaged households in Ia Khuol Commune, Gia Lai Province. The handover ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Viet Nam – Deputy General Director of Halcom Nhon Hoi Water JSC (a member company of Halcom Vietnam), representatives of local authorities, and the beneficiary families.
The activity reflects Halcom Vietnam’s spirit of accompanying the community, contributing to social welfare goals and improving living conditions for people facing housing difficulties.
The two supported households are that of Mr. Ro Cham Alak in To Von 2 Village and Mr. Siu Diep in Ro Vai Village, Ia Khuol Commune. Halcom Vietnam provided VND 60 million to each family, with total support amounting to VND 120 million.
Mr. Ro Cham Alak’s family is classified as near-poor, with the couple and their children living together. Their main sources of income come from hired labor and cassava cultivation on limited agricultural land. Before receiving support, the family lived in a temporary house with brick walls combined with corrugated metal, makeshift structural pillars, and inadequate conditions for stable living.
