On 22 October, a delegation representing the Party Committee, Trade Union, and employees of Halcom Vietnam JSC, together with its subsidiary Thuan Thanh Water JSC, visited and presented relief donations to the Kindergarten, Primary School, and Commune Police of Bo Ha Commune, Bac Ninh Province. These were among the institutions in Bo Ha Commune that suffered severe damage from Typhoon No. 10.
The donations reflected the heartfelt contributions of Party members, Trade Union members, and employees of Halcom Vietnam JSC and Thuan Thanh Water JSC. The total support package, valued at VND 50 million in cash, along with fresh milk, was provided to help the affected institutions replace equipment and essential supplies that were severely damaged by the flooding.

According to Mr. Nguyen The Binh, a representative of the People’s Committee of Bo Ha Commune, Typhoon No. 10 (Typhoon Bualoi) caused extensive damage across the commune. “The entire commune experienced continuous power and water outages for five days. Floodwaters rose rapidly overnight, inundating nearly two-thirds of the commune’s natural land area. Local authorities had to mobilize emergency response teams to evacuate more than 1,300 households from high-risk areas. Many public facilities, including schools and healthcare stations, sustained severe damage. Although significant recovery efforts have been made over the past 15 days, local residents are still facing considerable hardships,” Mr. Binh said.
Bo Ha Kindergarten suffered extensive damage after being submerged in floodwaters for several days, with most of its electronic equipment and teaching materials destroyed beyond repair
Ms. Hoang Thi Hue, Principal of Bo Ha Kindergarten, expressed her gratitude: “This support is not only of great material value but also a tremendous source of encouragement. It gives our school and the local community greater confidence and strength to overcome this difficult period. We are committed to using the donated funds effectively and for their intended purpose.”
At the gathering, Mr. Phung Ngoc Son, a representative of the Party Committee of Halcom Vietnam JSC, affirmed that the visit was a meaningful initiative reflecting the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, helping to ease the hardships faced by flood-affected communities while promoting humanitarian values within the business community. “Each donation represents the heartfelt contributions of Halcom’s Party members, Trade Union members, and employees. We sincerely hope these gifts will help local residents recover more quickly, rebuild their daily lives, and restore a sense of normalcy,” Mr. Phung Ngoc Son said.

The relief effort in Bo Ha Commune is part of Halcom Vietnam’s long-standing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, reflecting the company’s enduring commitment to sustainable development and community engagement. Earlier, through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Halcom Vietnam donated VND 100 million to support communities across the country that were severely affected by Typhoon No. 10.
