On February 20, 2021, Mr. Nguyen Linh Ngoc – Chairman of Vietnam Association for Clean Water and Environment (AWATEN) announced the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan – Chairman of Halcom Vietnam JSC. as Vice Chairman of the Association.
On the occasion of the early spring of Tan Suu 2021, AWATEN held a Conference to evaluate the results of the Association’s activities in 2020 and plans 2021, as well as announced the Decision to supplement the Executive Board, Standing Committee, assigning Vice Chairman position of the Association and organizing the awarding of Certificate to collective and individual members.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Linh Ngoc – Chairman of AWATEN emphasized that “In 2020, the Central Committee of AWATENhas followed closely the principle of operation purpose and achieved many outstanding results. In 2021, in the face of global difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and climate change, the Association decided to add more members to the Executive Board and the Standing Committee to organize AWATEN to grow stronger. , building AWATEN more and more developed ”.
Ms. Pham Thi Xuan – Vice Chairman of AWATEN announced the decisions of the Chairman of AWATEN on adding 7 comrades to the Executive Committee, and 2 comrades to the Central Standing Committee of the AWATEN, term IV, term 2019 – 2024.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan – Chairman of Halcom Vietnam JSC. was permitted to join the Executive Board, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Vice Chairman of AWATEN.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan – Chairman of Halcom Vietnam JSC. affirmed that he would participate and cooperate with the Standing Committee, the Central Executive Committee of AWATEN to overcome the current difficulties, build and develop AWATEN increasingly strong.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan is currently a member of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front (Session IX), holds a Master of Business Administration – University of California Mirama (USA), and has over 30 years of experience in water supply, drainage and infrastructure development.
