As part of the Congress, at Discussion Center No. 1, Nguyen Quang Huan contributed comments to Program 6, titled “Continuing to reform the organizational structure, content and methods of operation; enhancing the capacity of Vietnam Fatherland Front officials at all levels.”
According to Mr. Huan, the Program should emphasize the role of grassroots-level Vietnam Fatherland Front officials and enhance their capacity to meet the requirements of the new era. They are the officials closest to the people, listening to their concerns and conveying their aspirations to the Party and the State.

“As General Secretary and President To Lam stated in his keynote address at the opening session of the Congress, ‘When the people need us, the Fatherland Front is there; when the people face difficulties, the Fatherland Front is ready to step in.’ Without relying on grassroots-level Front officials, the Front’s response may not be timely when difficulties arise. Furthermore, through grassroots-level Front officials, communication efforts should be strengthened to help people understand what the ‘era of the nation’s rise’ means. This will help rally the determination of the entire population, encouraging people to actively participate and contribute to the successful implementation of the Party’s policies,” Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan emphasized.
