In the new period, promoting the strength of great national unity has been identified as one of the important driving forces for building and developing the country. With the role of a bridge between the Party, the State and the People, the Vietnam Fatherland Front continues to innovate its operating methods, strengthen efforts to bring people together, listen to and reflect the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of people from all walks of life.
Speaking to the press recently, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan – Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Halcom Vietnam – emphasized the important role of bringing together and fostering solidarity among people from all walks of life as the country enters a new stage of development.
According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan, the Vietnam Fatherland Front needs to continue promoting its role as a connector, particularly in listening to the voices of people in remote and disadvantaged areas, intellectuals, entrepreneurs and different segments of society. Timely gathering and reflecting the thoughts and legitimate aspirations of the People will help ensure that policies and guidelines are increasingly aligned with practical realities, while strengthening social consensus.
He also noted that the quality of social supervision and social criticism should continue to be improved, focusing on practical issues such as administrative reform, the prevention and combating of corruption and wastefulness, environmental protection, social welfare, and the resolution of voters’ petitions.
During the 2026–2031 term, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan expects the Vietnam Fatherland Front to continue making strong innovations, applying technology and digital transformation, and enhancing the capacity of its staff, thereby improving the effectiveness of communication, mobilization and engagement with the People.
According to him, when the strength of great national unity is effectively brought into play, the Vietnam Fatherland Front will make an important contribution to strengthening trust, fostering consensus and creating greater momentum for the country to achieve rapid and sustainable development in the new era.
