On December 24, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Private Business Association (VPBA), Assoc. Prof., PhD. Nguyễn Trọng Điều – Chairman of the Vietnam Private Business Association (VPBA) – presented the Decision to award the “For the Cause of Building and Developing Vietnamese Entrepreneurs” Commemorative Medal to Mr. Nguyễn Quang Huân, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Private Business Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HALCOM Vietnam JSC, and a 15th National Assembly Deputy.

Pursuant to Government Decree No. 45/2010/NĐ-CP dated April 21, 2010, and Decree No. 126/2024/NĐ-CP dated April 21, 2024, stipulating the functions, activities, and management of associations; and Decision No. 639/QĐ-BNV dated August 13, 2019, issued by the Minister of Home Affairs approving the amended and supplemented Charter of the Vietnam Private Business Association;
Pursuant to Circular No. 14/2019/TT-BNV dated November 15, 2019, and Circular No. 8/2022/TT-BNV amending and supplementing several articles of Circular No. 14/2019/TT-BNV dated November 15, 2019, issued by the Minister of Home Affairs, stipulating the awarding of commemorative medals in fields under the management authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs; the Regulations on the consideration and awarding of the “For the Cause of Developing the Vietnam Private Business Association” Commemorative Medal issued together with Decision No. 19/QĐ-HDNTN dated May 26, 2020; and the amended and supplemented Regulations on the consideration and awarding of the “For the Cause of Building and Developing Vietnamese Entrepreneurs” Commemorative Medal issued together with Decision No. 25/QĐ-HDNTN dated July 23, 2024.
Considering the proposal of the VPBA General Secretary, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Private Business Association issued a Decision to award the “For the Cause of Building and Developing Vietnamese Entrepreneurs” Commemorative Medal to Mr. Nguyễn Quang Huân – Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Private Business Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HALCOM Vietnam JSC, and a 15th National Assembly Deputy – and Ms. Trịnh Thị Thu Hương, former specialist at the Office of the Vietnam Private Business Association’s Central Committee.
On December 24, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Private Business Association (VPBA), Assoc. Prof., PhD. Nguyễn Trọng Điều – Chairman of VPBA, former Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, former Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and former Director of the National Academy of Public Administration – presented the Decision to award the “For the Cause of Building and Developing Vietnamese Entrepreneurs” Commemorative Medal to Mr. Nguyễn Quang Huân and Ms. Trịnh Thị Thu Hương.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Quang Huân shared his memories of working with the VPBA leadership in building the Association from its early days, when it faced numerous challenges but was driven by a strong spirit of dedication and enthusiasm. Having successfully completed two terms and preparing to enter its third term with many expectations, VPBA, he expressed his confidence that the Association will continue to grow stronger and more sustainably. Mr. Huân affirmed that he will continue to work alongside the Association’s leadership to devote his full efforts to the development of VPBA.

At the award ceremony, Assoc. Prof., PhD. Nguyễn Trọng Điều – Chairman of VPBA – acknowledged the contributions of Mr. Nguyễn Quang Huân and Ms. Trịnh Thị Thu Hương to the development and growth of the Association, particularly the significant and important contributions of Mr. Nguyễn Quang Huân.
The Chairman of VPBA expressed his hope that Mr. Huân would continue to promote his role in the Association’s new term, serving as a representative of the business community and effectively fulfilling his duties as a National Assembly Deputy. At the same time, he encouraged Mr. Huân to spread this role among entrepreneurs within the common home of VPBA, thereby enhancing the position and contribution of Vietnamese entrepreneurs.
