As one of the most difficult communes in Ha Giang province, Xin Man consists of 6 mountainous villages where are homes of mostly Dao and Mong ethic minority people. The commune has a separated and complicated topography with steep slope, severe weather conditions in winters, which all have great effects to the travelling and agricultural production of local people.
With the aim of sharing a part of difficulties and deprivation of poor people in frosty winters, HALCOM in association with other enterprises organized a charity program to give 240 quilted blankets and 2.4 tons of rice to households of Xin Man commune.
Happiness of people in the commune is also happiness of officials in this poor mountainous area. Mr. Bui Minh Hieu – Vice Chairman and also representative of the district expressed that:”The lives of people here are still hard and difficult. Many poor households think that today, they are enjoying Tet holiday”.
HALCOM also targets to finance charity programs to share difficulties and support communes within our ability, and always tries the best to bring benefits to the community and society.
