On the morning of May 13, 2023, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a launching ceremony to support the construction of Great Solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province towards the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory. With the desire to join hands to spread the message “Million hearts of love – Thousand happy roofs”, Halcom Vietnam sponsored the construction of 2 houses with a total value of VND 100 million.
Attending the launching ceremony were President Vo Van Thuong; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and leaders of central departments, ministries and branches.
In response to the emulation movement “For the poor – Leave no one behind”, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 – May 7, 2024), welcome the Congresses of Fronts at all levels to the 10th National Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (term 2024 – 2029); the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front called on citizens to join hands and support the ethnic minorities in Dien Bien province and the Northwest region to rise out of poverty. Simultaneously, the campaign also contributes to propaganda, education, arousing the spirit of great national unity, raising the sense of responsibility of all classes of people, organizations and individuals interested in taking care of the nation. People in ethnic minority areas and revolutionary bases have made great contributions and sacrifices to the mission of national liberation.
The launching ceremony with the theme “Million hearts of love – A thousand happy roofs” has successfully mobilized more than 280 billion VND, equivalent to 5,600 great solidarity houses from entities, enterprises, organizations and individuals at central and local levels, in a bid to support and register to support ethnic minorities in Dien Bien province.
