Hanoi – 29 April, 2020, Halcom Vietnam JSC. released the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) bidding documents for Hau Giang Solar Power Plant (capacity: 29MWac).
The plant is located at Hoa An commune, Phung Hiep district, Hau Giang province, Vietnam. VKT-Hoa An, a member of Halcom Vietnam, owns the project. This is the second renewable energy project by Halcom Vietnam, after Phuong Mai 3 Wind Power Plant (Nhon Hoi economic zone, Binh Dinh province).
Hau Giang Solar Power Plant project started its first steps, and the construction is planned as below:
- End of May, 2020: EPC contractor selection
- Early June, 2020: contract signing, starting plant construction
- Construction period: 6 months
- December, 2020: COD
