On July 11-12, 2023, the leadership of Halcom Vietnam JSC came to Hue to inspect the implementation of the HU-CS01 package: Construction supervision and implementation support for the Secondary Green Cities Development Project – Thua Thien Hue Sub-project.
The Secondary Green Cities Development Project (SGCDP II) will support environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive development in the cities of Vinh Yen, Hue, and Ha Giang in Viet Nam to enhance their economic competitiveness. Specifically, it will contribute to (i) control urban stormwater runoff and reduce flood risks, (ii) improve sanitation for public health, (iii) enhance green landscaping and public amenities, (iv) upgrade urban road networks and improve their connectivity, and (v) promote public participation in planning. The project will demonstrate green and climate-resilient development approaches that will be scaled up for nationwide secondary green city development in Viet Nam.
Halcom Vietnam JSC is the consulting contractor of the HU-CS01 package: Construction supervision and implementation support for the Secondary Green Cities Development Project – Thua Thien Hue Sub-project. The consulting service contract for this package is implemented from September 2019 to December 2023. This business trip is a periodic activity of Halcom Vietnam JSC to control and ensure the best quality of the consulting services.
On the afternoon of July 11, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Halcom Vietnam JSC, worked with the SGCDP II Thua Thien Hue Invesment Management Unit (PMU) about the implementation progress of the above-mentioned package. Mr. Vo Van Viet, PMU Director, highly appreciated the support of the Consultant Team for the PMU, saying that despite many difficulties, the Consultant Team has met the requirements of the signed contract.
On the morning of July 12, Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dat, Director of the Consulting Business, had a field trip to check the implementation status of the supervision service for all 10 construction packages in the area.
