Hau Giang Solar Power Plant officially achieves Commercial Operation Date (COD)

On 26 December, 2020, Hau Giang Solar Power plant with the capacity of 35MWp officially reached COD. The plant will produce about 50,800 MWh per annum. This is the first solar power operation in Hau Giang, contributing to the efficient exploitation of the provincial solar radiation potential and in line with the development strategy of renewable energy in Vietnam as well as general planning for solar power in the province.

Vi Thanh – Long My 110 kV line officially connected to the electricity system of Hau Giang Solar Power Plant

At 9:00AM on December 12, 2020, the Vi Thanh – Long My 110 kV line was officially connected to the electricity system of Hau Giang Solar Power Plant, ready to be integrated into the national electrical grid. Being located in Hoa An commune, Phung Hiep dist., Hau Giang province, and invested by VKT-Hoa An Solar Power Jsc. (a member company of Halcom Vietnam), the plant has the capacity of 35MWp. With key construction items having been completed, the plant is expected to achieve COD in Dec, 2020.

Halcom Vietnam accompanied the Vietnam Fatherland Front to assist people in floodplain areas in Quang Binh and Quang Tri

On December 7, 2020, President of the VN Fatherland Front Central Committee Mr. Tran Thanh Man led the delegation to visit and give presents for the local that need support in Quang Tri and Quang Binh provinces. Accompanying the delegation were leaders of the provincial Party Committee and local VNFCC. Scientific seminar “Production and consumption of biodegradable plastic products – Prospects of replacing disposable plastic products in Vietnam”

On November 23, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee held a scientific seminar “Production and consumption of biodegradable plastic products – Prospects of replacing disposable plastic products in Vietnam”.

The seminar was organized by the Science – Education and Environment Advisory Council (Fatherland Front Central Committee of Vietnam) to clarify the scientific and practical basis of biodegradable plastics and production development mechanisms and policies, consumption of biodegradable plastic products in Vietnam.

Phuong Mai 3 Wind Power Plant is voted 2020 Typical Renewable Energy project

On Oct 28, 2020 in Hanoi, at the forum “Resolution 55-NQ/TW and renewable energy development solutions in Vietnam” organized by Enternews magazine and the Advisory council of Science, Education & Environment (VNFF), the typical renewable energy projects in Vietnam in 2020 was officially announced, including Phuong Mai 3 Wind Power Plant (Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh).
