In August 2021, Halcom Vietnam JSC. sent Long An Province 1,000 sets of medical protective clothing to support the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic there.
Currently, Long An is one among those where the pandemic has developed complicated, unpredictable and difficult to forecast. The number of daily recorded cases have continuously surged and at a very high level. In order to accompany the frontline force in pandemic treatment, Halcom Vietnam JSC. provided medical protective clothing including 500 sets of level 3 protective suits (for doctors and nurses) and 500 ALM 76 cooling protective suits that are specially researched, designed and manufactured to help the wearer feel comfortable while working in a hot and airtight environment, against heat shock and heatstroke. The total value of 1,000 protective suits for epidemic prevention is about 220 million VND, which will support frontline units in the fight against the pandemic, contributing to the health sector to ensure the safety of the forces involved in the prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic in the province
At the reception of funds, medical supplies and rice, etc. in the morning of September 8, 2021, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Ut expressed his sincere thanks to businesses and sponsors, including Halcom Vietnam. He affirmed that these meaningful gifts are timely encouragement to strengthen the locality to have more resources in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
